DON'T USE VODACOM FIBRE! No customer service.
SR 190 ********** 43 - Cancellation of line SO 190 ********** 48 We’ve been without internet since 16 March 2019. At first, we were told that it is because of load shedding and we should give it some time. After no-one could tell us the reason why our line was suspended, we then cancelled our fibre with Vodacom on the 28th March 2016. Today is the 15th April 2019. We still don’t have any internet. We can’t connect a new supplier because Vodacom does not release the line. After calling numerous times we were told we didn’t pay our account and that is why our line was suspended. Our account gets paid at the end of the month via Direct debit. If our line was suspended on the 16th March because of unpaid bills, why then did a direct debit go off at the end of that month 29 March for amount R7 054.60. A lady called Ikana 15 April at 8:30 (if that’s even her real name) said that we still owe R6 334.82 which is ridiculous because on our statement this is the amount due to go off at the end of April!!! Spoke to Morsa 15 April at 8:40 – He says it takes 30 days for a line to be cancelled. Does this mean you have to stay without internet for 30days? Well it’s been so long, and still nothing. He has logged a RELEASE OMT follow-up on this account. I still couldn’t use any internet during this month but will be billed for it obviously! All my kids, my wife and myself use Vodacom and have been clients for over 15 years. It is disgusting that Vodacom treats its clients this way. I’m taking this to social media now. PLEASE HELP! Don’t bother calling me back without this issue being resolved. Mr Dupre Knoetze ********** 149
