DONT TRUST VODACOM FIELD SALES AGENTS

A Vodacom field sales agent knocked on our door and sold us Fibre which she claimed was R200 per month, after I signed up, got the router and was call for confirmation of installation... My wife suggested I call Vodacom and find out if it is indeed a R199 subscription... Turns out it was for the first three months only! I told the Call Center agent to cancel...

Since then no one from Vodacom has gotten back to me even after sending emails to their retentions and customer care departments.

I just want them to take their router so I can live my life... I'm never trusting anyone from Vodacom.

The first gentleman who gave me a call this morning new what he was doing and that put me at ease, he gave me assurance that someone from Sales will contact me within 48hours, pitty I forgot his name but I will never forget his professionalism.

"Lerato" from Vodacom just called me... On Truecaller she's Lebogang Queen I guess she the one from Sales, anyway, I find it unprofessional calling someone regarding an escalated query and you expect them to explain themselves again, it's as if she had no idea what she was calling me for, really? She hung up on me... Typical service from a Vodacom employee, just as I expected. Well done!

I got a call from someone from Vodacom at 14:20 informing me that a courier would be at my gate to pick up the router at 14:30, their Truecaller name is "Limpopo Network Cabling", how bizarre, I thought to myself and went on about my day because I was happy that router was finally leaving then boom! When the courier arrived with his gang waiting at the gate like they're about to beat the hell out of me, they told me they're here to install fiber...

I'm beginning to think that Vodacom has some serious reception issues because this has turned out to be a game of broken telephone. The communication amongst themselves is bad, only one person out of the five that called me today new what was happening because they took the time to read the initial query, they rest had no idea why they were calling me. Not even a single one of them could retain me or offer me another package, what kind of a sales department is this? It's a joke, really, I was a potential customer but they have officially lost me.

Kudos to the Vodacom Sales Department, you guys rock!
