Dont trust Vodacom
Never believe anything Vodacom's customer care consultants tell you. When you request a settlement letter, verbally confirmed on the phone and in the settlement quote as a full settlement, it should mean the account is settled. Even if you make the payment in time before the next debit is ordered and email them your proof of payment, rest assured Vodacom's debt collectors will be hounding you the next month with another outstanding payment. Calling customer care is pointless because as soon as you finally get through to a consultant to resolve the issue, the call gets magically cut off, and you have to start the process all over again. The harassment continues, along with threats to blacklist me.
