Dont enquire for Fibre with them as to them Showing interest means you are already a customer
On the 06th Apr 2022 , I wrote a complaint here on Hellopeter about Vodacom having listed me as a customer when I had made it clear I was no longer interested in taking up fibre with them. Now they have taken things up a notch by listing me on credit bureau claiming I owe them R12,835 and my account is in arrears(default)... This was my complaint "Beginning of March I placed an order through Vumatel ,for fibre installation. Upon receiving an email from Vodacom regarding this installation and finding out they do credit checks for month on month fibre deals . I spoke to a Cecil Sambu who had sent me the forms and I advised that I would no longer take up the deal with them . All was well and went on to place an order with another ISP still via Vumatel . Vumatel went on to do the installation and have been waiting on the other ISP to install a router ,only to be told that Vodacom is my ISP , now I need to for Vodacom to first tell where did I acknowledge them as my ISP whereas I have not even provided them with my ID number and banking details ...As a customer I am allowed to change my interests in ISP but Vodacom is holding me ransom by not cancelling the order placed ...Tried to call ********** but that is just for show as that number does not even go through. Cancel that order as i did not agree to make Vodacom my ISP ,I only showed interest"
If they keep insisting I have an account with them ,they must send me a copy a contract I signed to take this contract with them.
