Dont care service received from Vodacom

I have yet to experience such bad service as the service that I receive from Vodacom, you might not care about my complaints because I am a single person but you will be surprised how many of your clients are very unhappy about the bad service that we receive from you as Vodacom.

I have been a Vodacom customer for over 10 years and it is unacceptable to treat your customers this way - I will be moving my business elsewhere as soon as my contract comes to an end and so will my whole family as we are tired of the bad service.

I took my Samsung handset to the Vodacom shop in Lephalale mall (and by the way the contact details for them on your website is incorrect) on 13 February 2017. Firstly I received the worst service from that shop ever you can really see that the staff there do not aim to please the customer. I was then advised that my handset must be booked in for repairs.

Last year March 2016 I upgraded and chose a Sony phone my husband upgraded the same year July 2016 and chose the Samsung 7 Galaxy we then exchanged phones but STILL both remain Vodacom handsets. This is the same Samsung that I took to one of your shops to assist with the repair.

Today 22 February 2017 I receive a call that my phone is ready for collection, please note that I stay 200km from Pretoria and 90km from Lephalale. So I attend to the Vodacom shop in Lephalale to pick up my phone but to my disgust I am advised that the phone was not repaired as it is not a Vodacom handset, I explained that it is as I received it when I upgraded with vodacom but without checking the system I am advised to bring proof in the form of a receipt.

I am really not that STUPID to take a phone that is not a vodacom handset to a vodacom shop - how is this possible my handset was scanned when I upgraded how can you not pick it up from the system.

You are wasting my time and money because now I have to drive 90km back home and then 90km back to Lephalale to bring proof and then again another 180km to pick up the phone once it is eventually been repaired.

Is this really the best service you can provide? I pay R521.00 a month for this ****. Who is going to cover all my expenses for your bad service?

This is really unacceptable and I will be sharing this story with everyone and advise them to rather make use of a different service provider.

Annemie Pieterse.
