Don't ever go to Vodacom - You can't port out!!!

I've been trying to port from Vodacom for days now. Everything was completed by my next service provider but Vodacom is still routing calls to the OLD SIM CARD.

Contact center support is pathetic!! Instead of sorting out the issue, the contact center agent (Warren Peters) decides to argue about semantics.

He then calls supervisor Anastasia who proceeds to tell me that they cannot get any feedback from the technical team. I explained that I will wait on the line until the issue is resolved and she then pretends to not be able to hear me and leaves me on the line.

I will proactively ensure that everyone I know who is considering to go to Vodacom NEVER DOES IT!!

No ability to contact your technical department makes your contact centre USELESS and just a stall tactic for any issues. This will be escalated to the Number Portability Company as Vodacom is offering a service they cannot deliver on.
