Doing the same thing and expecting a different result from Vodacom - Stupidity!!

Despite a spate if disasters with previous Vodacom upgrades, I decided to upgrade my daughters contract on Thurs before 9am, yes its a public holiday, but Friday was not, and as Vodacom advertises, next day delivery if upgrade completed before 12pm. Ha,ha,ha .... I was not expecting them to honour their next day claim, but thought it may arrive Sat or even Tuesday ... I even stipulated that they please call me before attempting delivery to allow me to be available - as I work, and see my clients, so I am not sitting around waiting on Vodacom. On MondayI receive a text advising my phone will be delivered that day, so at 08:12am, i called their RAM Couriers to advise that I need their driver to please call me before delivery, and that I will be at the delivery address between 03:30 and 04:00pm on Monday. By 03:00pm I called RAM couriers AGAIN, as I had not heard from their driver. I was told that the driver attempted to deliver the phone at 1pm - I asked was there no note? I was advised no there is a note to call you and that you wont be home until 3:00-3:30pm. I said no I will be home 03:30-04:00pm, I was told driver would call me. Its now Wed 07:09am, and still nothing from Vodacom or RAM about the delivery of the phone. Is the joke on me, am I being ridiculous expecting good not even great service from Vodacom?
