Does Vodacom really think we are stupid and not know our rights.

We had 7 vodacom lines and due to unforeseen circumstances we be came indebted with them . We then paid off said debt and was told that we must re apply for the lines and pay a re connection fee after which we will again have Vodacom lines and all will be well . Which we then attempted after all the forms where filled in and sent in wed where told that beacuse of the fact that we are under debt review the lines could not be reactivated and that as we Paid our debt and they are not granting the re connection . We are therefore paid up and owe Vodacom nothing more. Fast Forward 14 Months we receive a email from Vodacom's Attorneys Claiming we owe them R 45000 in fees as the new accounts where activated. Now how on earth can we be liable for lines that we have never owned or used. Then after we queried that they came with no it is the cancellation fee of our old accounts as it was terminated before the end of 24 months. This is absolutely ridiculous as they inadvertently canceled the account in refusing us to reactivate the accounts after all the payments where received.
