Do you want your money or not???? Six months later and now I am no longer in the country.

In the first week of April my husband went into Vodacom at Liberty Midlands Mall Pietermaritzburg. He was leaving the country and was closing his bank account so we wanted to change the debit order to my bank account so that we could continue to pay until our contract expired. We filled in all the necessary documentation and were told that the debit order would be changed over. Very happy that all had been sorted my husband left South Africa on 20 April. On the 7th of May much to my dismay the debit order went off my husbands bank account. Luckily there was still money in the account and I had not closed it yet. He had given me power of attorney on his account so that I could finalise everything and close the account before I left to join him. When I saw that the debit order went off the incorrect account I immediately phoned Vodacom call centre. At this stage I was told that they would not even speak to me as I was not the account holder. So I decided to go into the branch where we had done the paperwork. Here I was told that they had the documents, they could even tell me bank account numbers and everything, but that the paperwork had not gone through yet, not to worry though, that by the next debit order run it would. Much to my dismay it didn't and I repeated the whole process again the following month. And again the month after that, by this time I had actually closed the bank account so the debit order bounced back. It was then that I went into the branch again, I spoke to the manager and explained that I was due to leave South Africa on the 14 of July and would not be able to come in again if they didn't sort out the debit order. She said she would, she even took my contact details and phoned me back later that day to confirm that it had been done. Well now today is 12 September my cellphone has been suspended. I can no longer get my OTP's for banking purposes etc. I am frustrated as hell. Its like these people don't want their money. All I want is for them to change the debit order to my account. I know I have to pay and I am happy to, but seriously why do they make it so difficult. Im tired of trying. They can now try and get hold of me for their money, but hey good luck. You have suspended my phone and that is my only contact. You want your money come get it. Oh and by the way your online chat is just as frustrating as your service. 3 times in the past week ive been in contact with them and am no further.

I have still not had any other responce from vodacom other than what looks to be an automated responce to my original post. Really dissappointed. I really want to get my account sorted. Please man this is beyond a joke now. Please can someone contact me.
