Do you teach your staff to lie to client to get rid of them????

I had a migration done from a business package to a prepaid package. I was informed that the line would needs to be RICAd after migration. I received the SMS for a success migration on the 19/10 and went into the green acres store twice to try and RICA, I was informed they could not do so as the RICA system was offline. On the 20th I went into Vodacom Walmer and was told the line had not yet been migrated which was why they couldn't RICA. I then phoned ********** and spoke to Petunia Mdungela who advised that the line had now been deleted, she advised she would send a request to re activate the number and email me in the morning. No feedback has been received. I am now once again on the phone try to resolve the matter. Clearly the staff have been lying to me regarding the problem...is it Vodacom's policy to have staff make up answers when they don't know what the problem is???
