DO NOT USE VODACOM FIBRE - unprofessional and not service-driven.

Hi have posted my review 2 weeks ago and still no call from Vodacom. No refund from Vodacom on my billing issue and there call center can't help because they are just the foot solders.

My whole experience with Vodacom fiber service has been frustrating from start to finish- unprofessional and pathetic. I would urge customers NOT to use Vodacom and rather use an alternative service provider. Vodacom does not have their own Fibre Infrastructure and are ***gy backing off Openserve/MetroFibre etc.

I was a Vodacom Fibre subscriber for 10 months. I relocated from PTA to JHB in March 2019. When I initially took out the Vodacom Fibre contract they assured me that there would be problems when relocating.

I gave notice in the beginning of Feb 2019 for the relocation. You would think they would be professional and as a company, think the following steps needs to be in place. Step 1: A relocation form needs to be filled in. (which I submitted at the same time of notification) Step 2: Termination of contract (which is stipulated in the contract and they did not do that. I still continue to pay for Fibre at my old place, which I no longer have). Step 3: Assist with the relocation. Vodacom took too long and could not assist on time. (Vodacom has a turnaround time of x amount of days, but they need to prioritize because not everybody’s circumstances and needs are the same). I had to do the relocation on my own and I am refusing to pay for any costs associated with the relocation. I relocated to JHB one month ago and still don't have Fibre available at my new place, yet I’m being billed on my old contract.

The person assigned to my task was Nkosana Msibi- a very unprofessional, disorientated individual that is not service-driven at all. This Vodacom Employee does not contact or follow up on existing calls. She replies with the same email to ask, "Please choose a new package" after responding with the relevant information 10 days prior.

Meanwhile, somebody from another company was sent to assist and came to do the installation. There is a lot of miscommunication going on at Vodacom. After the installation, it should normally take a standard 3 hours for the fibre to be active- we are currently on Day 5 without activation.

Furthermore, we noticed that a Bose headset was missing from the house after the two men were there. It was lying on the couch where the two men were seated while waiting for the modem to register.

There are a lot of inconsistencies from Vodacom and issues to get the service rendered. I will NOT recommend them and if this is not resolve ASAP, I will have no choice but to cancel the contract due to service not being rendered.
