DO NOT UPGRADE ONLINE - GO TO A STORE!
On Friday I tried to renew in store, but they did not have stock of the phone I wanted. Since Vodacom's web site promises next day deliveries for on-line orders, I decided to do that instead. I filled in the on-line forms, and right at it said there was an internal error, and offered me an option to have them call back within 24 hours. I selected that option, and received an SMS and Email saying they would contact me within 24 hours. Instead they called back 3 days later, on Monday morning. I then went through the upgrade process telepathically. Right at the end, after going through the entire process, they say 'Your package will be delivered in 4-5 days.' (Completely ignoring the fact that the web site says next day deliveries.) Now, 5 days later, I am sitting with a barely usable broken phone, and my new phone HAS NOT EVEN BEEN DISPATCHED YET! The online process is full of lies and deception. DO NOT UPGRADE ONLINE - GO TO A STORE!
