Do not trust Vodacom sales agents that come to your area or that call you!

Do not trust Vodacom sales agents that come to your area. About a month ago a sales agent came to my gate and offered me Vodacom Fibre at half the price that i was currently paying. I asked him what would happen to my current Fibre account and he said that it would be automatically upgraded as it is "impossible" to have 2 lines at a single premises. After about 2 weeks the technicians came through and installed a new router, on the 1st of this month i received my Vodacom bill and i am being charged double for 2 lines at the same property of which i was told it was impossible for that to happen.

I have called in multiple times and have not been assisted or contacted by the customer service department. Finally after trying many times a service request was logged, this morning i received an email saying that the service request has been dealt with only to be sent the exact same bill again of which i was querying. When i called in to find out what was the issue i was told that my account had an outstanding amount, when i inquired what the outstanding amount was for i was then put on hold for 5 minutes only for the consultant to come back on the call and tell me that she double checked and there is no outstanding amount and that she will re log the ticket for my old line to be cancelled and for the bill to be reduced.

Not only did i not receive the so called promotion that was being run but ended up being charged double.

Another issue i have had, 3 months ago a sales lady calls to them me that she is upgrading my mobile data contract as the current plan does not exists anymore, i asked her is there would be any costs and if there would be a contract extension of which she said no nothing will change, not only did the price double but i ended up with another 24 month contract.

Vodacom and their staff do not know what they are doing and i am at the stage right now where i am going to cancel all my accounts with them and get my lawyers involved as i have had enough with their sales agents lying and robbing me.
