Do not trust Vodacom Sales Agents

Do not trust Vodacom Sales Agents. I was called being offered an plan one up from mine on two numbers for less the price I was paying only to realize they doubled the amount I have to pay for said plans. Speaking to a cancellation agent now they told me I should always verify if the options the sales agents are trying to sell are actually legitimate, how can a company operate like this? The sales agents are literally allowed to lie to you to sell you different plans and say you'll be saving money. I've called and have been told this will be reversed but will be debited for the higher amount this month. I am struggling to understand how a company like Vodacom can Con customers that have been with them for years like this.
