DO NOT TRUST OR BELIEVE VODOCOM 4U

<p>This crew are incapable of keeping their contractual obligations! Their contract states that they will do an "out of box" swap out after examing the phone for 7 days (saleman says 4-5 days, manager (R....d) says 14 days).</p> <p>I purchased my Samsung S8 on Saturday and returned it on Thursday as it keep hanging. Next Thursday - not having heard anything - I phoned them. Get a load of this: they were unable to test it as they could not switch it on without my PIN; they didn't think to contact me (a contract client); idiots!. So the manager fiddled with the phone and my wife collected it on Friday. Naturally, by the next Wednesday it was freezing again. So the manager R....d asked me if I would set aside an hour for him and take the phone in on Saturday. I duly did, expecting to walk out with a new phone. Not a chance; all he wanted was me to bring the phone in - why the **** about an hour? So he "almost 100% guarantees" that my new phone will be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday comes and goes, as does Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday afternoon I phone only to discover that R...d is not the manager and I relate the whole story again to the next person who claims to be THE MANAGER. And so the run-around continues. Full of "it has been escalated", "I have spken to the CLO, CEO, PLO, CIA etc", "I will phone you back before close of business.." etc ad nauseum! Saturday and still no phone and no reply to the message I left for R....d. So much for their contractual committment, when the business procedures appear to be geared up for nothing short of weeks (plural).</p> <p>Classic over promise and under-deliver. If you are looking for a trustworthy partner, I suggest you look elsewhere. On Monday I go on leave ..... with my sons 4 year old phone.</p> <p>Oh, and yes, the phone rings and rings and rings until you might get lucky on the 4th or 5th attempt!</p>
