DO NOT TAKE A CONTRACT WITH VODACOME!!

Vodafone is forcing to me pay for a phone i finished paying for in January 2024. I took a 36month contract which should have come to and end in January 2024 and when I expressed my wish to cancel the contract the told me they will only cancel it effective in August. That is 7 more months of paying for a phone I have fully paid for and honored my obligation throughout . Whn I asked they told me they extended the contract because of Covid but I was never told nor consented to any Extention. I have been asking for them to give me evidence of my Extention of my contract and they cannot even give me decent response they just quote vague responses and end up saying “as we have said initially “ but they initially could not even provide me a cancellation breakdown in writing. This is a violation of my consumer rights especially because it is affecting my credit score . What exactly should I still be paying for if I have fully paid the phone ? I don’t even use their data because I’m overseas and I have not been using it for 2 years so what am I paying for!!?? This is wrong I’m and I want to advise everyone DO NOT TAKE A CONTRACT WITH VODACOME!!
