Do not sign up for Vodacom Fibre!!

Late Monday evening 3/10 my wifi suddenly switched off. On Tuesday 4/10 I contacted Vodacom via their Facebook page to log the issue. From then until now (Friday 7/10) I have been told multiple times that the tech team would get in touch with me within 24-48 hours which is ridiculous! I work from home and have spent so much money on data already. Not one technician has gotten in touch with me. I have now called in twice and both times I have been told that the request was logged but not assigned to anyone and that they will escalate it again. The icing on the cake is that the only communication I received from them during this time was my monthly fibre bill. Please DO NOT use their fibre services. If you have any issues, you will be left begging and pleading for assistance. Absolutely ridiculous turn around time. Will start looking for other ISPs soon.

Lol OK we'll see if (by some miracle) someone actually contacts me with a proper solution, and not advise me to switch things on and off again.

Update 7/10 5pm: After trying the customer service email route, Yonela put me through to the call centre where I spoke to Nkosinathi from the Fibre dept. The hero of the day!!
He was very patient and calm with my frustrated self, investigated the issue and found that the IP address not matching was the issue. This was changed on Vumatel's side. He got the correct IP address from back office and I am finally connected!!!!! Please extend thanks to Nkosinathi and move him to the head of the Tech department ASAP!
