Do not go to Vodashop Clear water mall and do not use Vodacom Period. ****ty customer service and arrogant attitude.

I opened a new contract with Vodacom at a vodashop in Clearwater Mall on 02.03.2018.

After completing the process I was approved for the contract. At no point did this agent mentioned how much I will be paying for the contract (I had to ask) at no point did she tell me that I will be debited in the next few hours and at no point did she confirm a debit order date going forward.

I find the above so unprofessional especially for a new customer taking a contract out for the first time with Vodacom.

Secondly upon leaving the store the agent did not give me the copy of the contract which is a legal document and needs to be handed over to a customer as per procedure.

So fast forward 3 days after being at the vodashop i receive a notification saying my account was debited,I then call the store about 5 times to speak to this consultant (Lerato) asking her to call me back with no callback received. Upon the last time calling I get her and when asked why she did not explain the debit date and prorated amount that was debited she starts giving me a ****ty arrogant attitude about it is in the copy of the contract that she ‘SUPPOSEDLY ‘ gave me which she never. I said to her you never gave me the copy and at no point did she apologize for her wrong doing. She then eventually sent me a copy of contract via email Screaming in capital letters.

I spoke to the manager Asther who said she will have a word with lerato up until today I don’t know if she ever did reprimand Lerato for giving such putrid service.

Now as far as I’m concerned this is ****ty customer care experience and I would rather recommend any individual to use MtN, Cell C or Telkom.

I regret taking a contract out with Vodacom as I feel they are arrogant and do not give a **** when it comes to customer service.

Hi Just realized today that Lerato never advised me about CLI (how wonderful was it for me to find that out) considering I was suppose to be told about caller line identity. I sent the store an email about it, guess what? I still had to call them once again with my own money and time to get CLI sorted because no one is interested in calling me back. Seriously I am so disgusted with Vodacom and this arrogance of theirs. Please direct me to a place where I can escalate this store (vodashop Clearwater mall) as this store has cost me money and time that I do not have.
