DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SIGN UP WITH VODACOM FIBRE!

App**** for fibre on 27 March...since then, it's been a nightmare! If you value your time, your work (if you work remotely) and your sanity DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SIGN UP WITH VODACOM!

I rely on fibre to work and have been without it since 1 April. Basically, it's been an ongoing back-and-forth with customer "support" with no resolution in sight. It's now been 3 weeks just to activate a line - no new installation required, just to ACTIVATE an EXISTING line!

Multiple tickets "logged" - I say "logged" because one agent told me that the previous ticket was never logged by her colleague, who assured me they were escalating. Every agent says they'll escalate - nothing has happened. Every agent says they'll provide you with feedback once the issue is resolved - they never get back to you.

I spoke to an agent yesterday who said it took a week for my ticket to reach the activation department- a ticket that was supposed to be escalated - nothing has been activated.

Their emails have been down for weeks, and to top it off, the website was down when I placed my order, and although I received confirmation, I was told I need to go through everything manually and provide sensitive information telephonically.

My reason to switch ISPs was to try to save money, but I have since spent more money buying data, airtime to follow up on non-existing tickets, Uber rides, and coffees to be able to work and am on the verge of losing clients.

I have been **** to, told to be more patient, and hung up on despite simply asking for a time frame. They all say 24-48hrs - it's been weeks. Only 1 out of at least 6 or 7 agents has provided me with a ticket number.

On a side note, even when you have data, they will draw from your airtime too!

All in all, it's worth it to go with a competitor and pay a little more and receive good customer service and peace of mind - oh, and actual service!!!!
