Do business at a Robert du Preez store for proffesional service.

Vodacom 4U Athlone Vangate Mall.....

This is by far the worst store I have ever been too to get a contract. The staff are the most unprofessional bunch of people I have ever seen and dealt with. I took out a laptop contract from some girl at this store. I was told my Sim and Connection fee is R200 something. A certain amount is going to go off my account and I must pay a certain amount in store - fine. I then get a debit of R50 extra, yes a mere R50 extra. This is obviously not a big deal I mean its a R50 but the fact that this girl doesn't know how her bills work is amazing. I have had this contract for 6 days now and still the sim card that was given to me is still not active. My wife calls and she has the nerve to tell her "You need to put it in a phone to activate the sim card, its obviously not going to work in the router because there is no keypad and there might be a pin on the sim card." OK, so 1) how the hell am I supposed to know it needs to first go into a phone to get activated? Why was this not mentioned the day I collected my stuff? Instead you try and make my wife sound like an idiot because she is asking YOU why YOUR **** isnt working after the standard 24-48 Hr bull****. 3) Last time I checked we don't for Vodacom otherwise I would have known this. 4) If this is the case why did no one activate my sim card in store? Because I had to first wait 24-48Hrs maybe? I will never recommend any Vodacom shop other than one that Robert du Preez owns. From what I have heard from friends he might not be the best person but he sure knows how to do business like professionals. You don't have employees shouting across the floor, watching videos loud while customers are in store, you don't have managers reprimanding agents in front of customers. For godsakes this is a store not a zoo.
