Dissatisfaction with Vodacom`s customer Service

I am typing this letter as literally means to appeal to the vodacom group, especially regarding your service in the last few weeks.I have been a loyal and paying customer to vodacom for over 12 years now and,I am absolutely appalled by the services tha you hve rendered.

I was recently due for an upgrade on my cellphone contract, and to say the least,it has invariably been one of the most frustrating things I could have ever done.I upgraded at vodacom on the 23/05/2017 to a Samsung S8+,which has been giving me problems ever since the upgrade.

I used the phone from the morning of the 24/05/2017 untill 02/07/2017.However,as of the 03/07/2017,a little while after upgrading, the phone started showing "symptoms"of a battery problem, as follows:the battery life would start decreasing more rapidly than usual and I would have charge it at least twice a day,the situation was exacerbated when this battery percantage decrease was coupled by the cellphone ultimately heating up and consequently decrease battery percentage even more - without it even being used.

I resorted to taking it in to the nearest vodacom shop for assistance on the 06/07/2017,and the consultant who was handling my predicament informed me that they would actually be sending the phone away to Bloemfontein, assigned job number ********** 5 for repairs.Thereafter, i received my phone from vodacom Welkom on Monday the 12/07/2017.

On Wednesday the 19/07/2017,I was still experiencing the same problem they had supposedly repaired and it was back to square one sgsin, rapid battery percentage drop and overheating.I then had to take it back again - because the problem had clearly not been resolved - on 20/07/2017 with job number ********** 4.

Vodacom sent me message on Friday the 04/08/2017 indicating that my phone is ready for collection and it has been repaired,of which I fetched the phone on Saturday the 05/07/2017,I had to take it back on Sunday the 06/07/2017, still experiencing the same problems trhey supposedly repaired and it was back to square oneagain, rapid battery percentage drop and overheating with Job number ********** 2

I am incredibly incovenienced to say trhe least but more than anything,I am frustrated and disapointmentat your approach to this entire situation.Honestly,it is a bit ridiculous that I have to go such lengths to even receive an appropriate response to the matter, this is incredibly unproffesional - even more so,it is unacceptable and i will not stand for it.

Did this brand new phone literally have to explode on my ear for you to assist me effectively?

To what extentmust I plea with you to be able receive a new handset that works effectively and could equally get me out of your hair.

I am never behind on my installments with your companyand,so,I assume I can expect your company to approach me with the same finesse, consistency and proffesionalism as I have maintained.

I even sent an email on the 27/07/2017 at 08h55 to ********** til today i have not receive a response.

I am profusely disappoited and frustrated by this and I expect something will be done soon to remedy this situation.

Regards

Mrs SB May
