Disregarding the Consumer Protection Act!

Absolutely shocking experience at Vodacom in Menlyn. I bought a phone there a month ago and after 3 days I tried to return it. The sales person and manager said they would have to send it for inspection first and after it came back after 3 weeks, they said there was nothing wrong with the phone and they wouldn’t refund me. I never claimed that it was faulty, I had just changed my mind after opening it and looking at it for 1 day. The manager acknowledged that according to the law, they had to refund me as the customer but they couldn’t because they had to ‘do what they were told’. The Consumer Protection Act says that a customer CAN return a product for a FULL refund within 14 days of purchasing. Why does Vodacom believe they are above the law? If this doesn’t get resolved and a refund issued, I will be getting my attorneys involved.
