Dishonesty and Misleading Service

Good day,

I would like to take this opportunity to share the poor experience and dishonesty received from Vodacom Fibre Department, I currently have a 24 month 20GB Data Contract with them that is costing me R205,99 monthly in May 2020 our area has been indicated for Fibre Registrations and Activation to take effective 2 months thereafter, Myself and Neighbor then decided to sign up for these deals with that expectation as we were to receive 100GB Data while we await activation of the Fibre Connectivity. June 2020 has passed and we are now in July 2020 which is the 2nd month as per the agreement. I have checked my billing statement and identified that i am being billed for Data Usage in July 2020, I have contacted the SP and informed them of this, they advised me that i need to read the small print and I then said this was not the agreement, okay i also said that i am happy to pay the cost while waiting on the Fibre, however is it possible that they can assist with this low speed and also increase the data, well none of this was done and yet i'm being expected to pay a bill.

I have now contacted the infrastructure support team, whom are Octotel and there feedback to me is that Vodacom is fully aware of when these areas are going live, but still send their staff to sell contracts to customers delivering to wrong perception cause here we are waiting on a service being delivered that is actually not going to happen on the agreed time.

Who in their normal mind would sign up for a deal, if they knew that the actual deal would only go live in the next 4 to 6 months? Cause now i'm expected to pay for interim data while i'm waiting on the Fibre to be activated.

Can any please help and give me clarity.
