Dishonest

I had a problem with my I phone 6 the screen was lifting from the base of the phone

I being a vodacom client took the device to the repair facility at west gate here a consultant named Louise assisted and took in the device I was told I would be notified of progress via SMS .

after 2 weeks I went back to the west gate Voda shop only to be told that this is an insurance claim and not a warranty claim I was notified that there would be an excess payable which I agreed to but the device I wanted ( I phone 6 ) was not available so I would need to wait 3 weeks I had to call in again after this period to follow up as no information was forthcoming now again there was no stock so again I waited after another week or 2 I collected the device and took it to the Voda shop in lenz where here I was again told no stock and 3 weeks again I waited after this I got irritated and collected the device as I could no longer have this carrot of 3 weeks dangled in front of me all the while I was waiting to pay a R3000 excess for a replacement of my phone

I eventually took this device to a cell phone repair facility where it costed me R550 rand to replace a battery ( battery had swollen and pushed up the screen )

this is the crux of my complaint

what did the repair facility do ?

why did they not puck this up ?

Because vidacom is in the business of fleecing their clients insurances by referring everything to insurance . I sent a mail to customer services to complain and was given a reference number via e mail and told I would be contacted in 7 working days 1- ********** 5889 this has still not happened from the 16 May

I now have no faith that the previous times I paid a excess to replace my device it was kosher besides robbing me are you not committing ***** regarding false claims with the insurance companies involved
