Disgusting Vodacom!!!!
I’ve been a Vodacom customer for over 15 years and am appalled by recent practices by Vodacom. I’ve complained on numerous occasions regarding the third parties Vodacom insists on using to swindle customers. Two years ago this third party contacted me for a data upgrade on my phone number and offered me a free gift. Without my knowledge, I was “contracted” for 2GB on a device and number i did not authorize. Yet again in July 2018, I clearly agreed to a 5GB data upgrade on two of my numbers. And guess what, one of these have been put against a number I’ve not authorized nor know anything about. I’ve contacted Vodacom on numerous occasions about this and nothing done to date. I don’t even have a SIM card for this second number. Vodacom has become very ********* and hiding behind the 3rd parties to **********ly open contracts on our accounts and then refusing to help. At some point Vodacom had the audacity to tell me I had to sort this out with the 3rd party, yet when contacted by these parties, they clearly state they are phoning as Vodacom. This is unacceptable Vodacom. It’s a desperate attempt to make money and shame on you. To add to this, my phone service has been disconnected 3 times in the past month, even as I write this review!!!! No one can explain why this is being done. I can’t make calls or receive messages. Why Vodacom. Am sick of the nonsense. Fix this now. Am a very dissatisfied customer and will move to another service provider!!!!!!!!
