Disgusting Service!!!!

On the 24th June 2016 my Partner bought me a Samsung S6 at VodaWorld in Jorbug. a month later I discovered that the power button has stopped working therefore the phone cannot power off and on as well as lock. Yesterday-12/08/2016 I called Vodacom repair shop in Canal walk and spoke to Monica, in my enquiry clearly asked what will be required with me when I go in store, she advised they will only need the phone as they only require serial number. I did as told however I had a scan in my emails of the receipt. I got there only to be told I needed proof of purchase. I email the receipt and I was told they can’t accept it as the 1st few IMEI numbers cannot be clearly seen. I stood there for 30min when she was busy on the phone with the phone purchaser who later asked to speak to a manager ( Steven Titus) , whom showed on interest throughout this occurrence even when consultant (Danai Majogo) went to show him the scan he did not have one look at me, nor see need to come and explain to me and prove a solution. The manager refused to take the phone and speak to the client and completely ignored the consultant. This is not what I expect from a customer service provider. I expected at the very least considering my time and petrol wasted, when I called and was misled by their staff. Even the consultant at the shop was not eager to assist she just seemed not interested, she almost refused to take the phone and speak to the customer that purchased the phone. It was the customer that suggested they called the shop as the number was reflecting on the receipt she and her manager did not think of that. I expected at least for the manager to suggest in resolution maybe then suggest I leave the phone get a clear receipt and email it to him so they can book my phone in under warranty as they supposed to. That to me would at least be client service that shows courtesy. I’m so disgusted by Vodacom service, as if it’s not bad enough the phone failing after just a month they still have a nerve to treat me with such disrespect. I hope my complaint will not fall on deaf ears.
