Disgusting service

I dropped my Samsung phone and went to Samsung to have the screen replaced. They advised that they could fix it within 2 hours, but I need to get proof of purchase from Vodacom, as I have a contract.

I went to Vodacom near Milady's, who would not assist me, as I could not remember if I bought the phone from Tygervalley or Canal Walk. They told me I need to go to CW then, as they are a franchise. As a customer, I should be able to get service from any Vodacom outlet surely?! What if I had bought the phone in Joburg, would I need to fly there? They told me that I could try call CW & ask them to email it to me. When I pointed out that I couldn't use my phone, they just shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't help. I must point out that there were no other clients in the store, and the 5 employees were just standing around chatting. Surely they could check on the system?

I then went to the Vodacom store near Game to ask for proof of purchase. I was told that unfortunately they are not allowed to give me proof of purchase because they could fix it in 3-5 working days. When I asked to see the manager, all of a sudden they could give it to me?! Shocking & disgusted!
