Disgusting Service

<p>I have been with Vodacom since when they first established in SA. I have three contracts with them. The one contract is rarely used and I have been trying to cancel and revert it to a pre paid number this week before the end of the month. My wife phoned the help line three times before getting any sense out of the consultants. She was told that because the account was in my name she could not cancel but was told to take a letter from myself plus a copy of my ID to a Vodacom shop. This we duly did but was told it was noy acceptable at the shop and we had to phone. I was at the airport and after several attempts managed to get through to ********** . I was questioned at great length to establish my identity and was then asked what company I worked for when i took out the contract. As it was so long ago I was trying to recall and then got cut off and couldn't get back. I am now out of the country and have been trying internationally to get through to the cancellation number. I am told that Vodacom do not accept emails any more only phone calls. I still have two contracts and will be purchasing pre paid airtime for the cancelled number. Do Vodacom not want my business any more or must I cancel all my contracts and move to another service provider who will gladly want my business.</p>
