DISGUSTING... DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I'M BOTHERING TO POST THIS....

Vodacom continues to remind me why I'm doing a swimswap TODAY

Briefly: I cancelled my Red contract with Vodacom this month after recieving terrible service over the past year. The data portion of the contract ran out about a week and a half ago, and I had been trying to load additional bundles for a week while my bill was shooting through the roof, being charged the out of bundle rate. I received numberous emails telling me my purchase was successful, but the data never appeared, so after 3 days, I decided to call the customer service line. The unhelpful woman advised me that she could load data for me at an additional cost, but there was nothing she could do about being charged all the 'out of bundle' data while waiting for the bundles to load. She also advised that any data she loaded now would be lost on the 1st of July, when the contract came to end. I told her that it made absolutely no sense to buy a lot of data now then, as I was going to lose it all in a few days, so she may load 500MB and that was it. I also advised that she must make sure all the bundles I was trying to buy previously must be cancelled as I woudl highy irrate if they all suddenly got activated. We got disconnected, and she 'called me back' but let the phone ring once and hung up before I had a chance to answer. I couldn't remember her name so I didn't think there was any point in calling back. I received an sms yesterday (29 June) advising that I was getting a complimentary 3GB due to the mishap, which reflected but as of 7am this morning (30 June) my balance reflects 0.0kb and 0.0 minutes. Vodacom 'cancelled' the contract a full day before I was able to use any of the so called complimentary data!!! After 17 years of 'customer service' I am taking my business somewhere else. Vodacom is without a doubt the worst cellular service provider and they will never get another penny out of me again. PATHETIC.
