Disgusting Customer Service

On the 25 December I bought a Vodacom phone for my husband as a xmas present, at your Greenstone Shop from the Store manager Marco, we went away over xmas so he opened the phone on the 25/12/2016 and we had problems with it, we returned home and on the 30/12 we took the phone to the Vodacom store where they copied all info over for us and we thought they sorted problem out. Then on the 31/12/2016 the phone was even worse so we went back to the shop in Greenstone and they looked at the phone and said yes there is a problem on the phone we must take it to Eastgate they will either repair or if not tell Greenstone to replace.

We went to Eastgate and they sent us back to Greenstone saying that they cannot look or repair the phone it has to be done through Greenstone,

I suggested to the technical guy that maybe he should just do a factory reset and see if that will help. He did this and it sorted the problem out. However this was very short lived and by the Sunday evening the 01/01/2017 the phone was giving problems again, so on Monday the 02/02/2017 I took the phone back to the Vodacom shop to have it sorted out

I was told that even if there are public holidays in between the purchase date and the 7 day exchange date and the fact that Vodacom WAS NOT OPEN this did not matter.

The phone had to be bookended into be repaired or for the software to be re-loaded as it seemed the problem was with the Software

The phone was booked in with Marco the sore manager, I advised him that I am also giving 7 days for the phone to be sorted.

This particular Vodacom shop did not send this phone in for repairs as he was off line and asked the other Vodacom shop in Greenstone to send it in. It was sent to Pretoria for repairs on the 09/01/2017 when I called to enquire what was happening with the phone Marco informed me he did not know and will find out and come back to me, I in the meantime phoned Vodacom Pretoria and they told me the phone had been delivered to Vodacom Greenstone that morning but was returned as i=they said it was still not fixed

I am now dealing with Kulu Tel: 011 ********** as of the 09/01/2017 as Marco has NO CLUE what he is doing, last week Thursday he told me that the phone will have to be replaced as it cannot be repaired but that he will not be able to have the phone by Friday and Ram do not deliver on Saturday, so he will have the phone for me on Monday

Now today I am being told that kulu is being told by the repairing place possibly could have good news by tomorrow, when I asked what this meant he said that possibly they would have the phone tomorrow, but he was not sure if this would be definite

I then phoned Vodacom Midrand and asked to speak to Mr Mohammed Joosub I explained the problem to the lady who answered the phone and she called Greenstone and they are working on the problem, I was then told that this is not a call for the CEO as they are sorting out the problem. I got a call from Kulu yesterday saying that they will be replacing the phone but that he did not know when as Menlyn where the phone was sent for repairs did not have stock of these phones, he could also not tell me when only that all he can do is call them everyday and find out if they got a phone. As of 15.44 today still not phone call.

Now today I call the repair centre only to be told the phone might not be replaced thay will only know if being replaced by Friday 20/01/2017

I want a new phone or my money back TODAY
