Disgusted with Vodacom

I was a Vodacom client for many years. This morning I decided to take out a new contract and after filling in all the paper work and getting an approved SMS from vodacom, the guy that helped me at the Waterfall mall in Rustenburg told me I have to wait two weeks. How does that work?!! I thought vodacom is the best network, but apparently not. How can you approve someone but I have to wait 2 weeks? I'd rather switch to Telkom, at least you get your phone immediately after being approved.
