Disgusted customer

I started my cellphone contract in Dec 2017 with insurance. I lost my phone in Aug 2019 and was then told to pay an access fees of plus R2000 in February 2020 for my phone to be replaced. I then asked them to terminate my insurance as I did not want it anymore and I do not want an upgrade as I do not want any contract with Vodacom anymore. I then noticed that they never gave me the sim card from my contract which had airtime and data that I was paying for. I contacted Vodacom in March 2020 to enquire about my sim card and deductions of R400 they stated was "closing fees" of my cintract as I have ended my contract. Vodacom then proceeded to tell me that I should go into a Vodacom store to retrieve the sim card, but I couldn't as it was the beginning of lockdown and their stores were closed. Only to call them this morning about a deduction of R990 that has been made from my account, to find out that the previous agent never informed me about the data and airtime deductions that will be made from my account and that it should've been terminated as I am no longer using their services. I am beyond ****ed off as information has been withheld from me as a paying customer and they are basically threatening me by placing a debit order on my account as "outstanding" and if I despute this at the bank, it will reflect badly on my credit record. The money has been deducted for reasons I was not informed about when initially the R400 was the final amount I was told about in March when I told them that I was not upgrading and I no longer needed their service. The pandemic is hard enough and times are tough, money is scarce and Vodacom is holding me accountable for something I've contacted them to cancel and they failed to do so! I am fed up and I would not recommend their services.
