Disgusted by the LIES.

I have tried to contact Vodacom numerous times WRT to my new instalment of my cell phone. I received a phone call to upgrade my cell phone and I agreed to the T&C’s but the person that spoke to me ****.

I mentioned to her that I tried to upgrade in June/July but because they told me I would still have to pay on my old phone as well as the new one I cancelled the upgrade, because I said I cannot afford R600-R700.

When I told the lady this, she said because I was in my 24th month going onto my 25th month in October I will no longer be paying for the old handset.

I tried calling last week requesting for the recording of that call, and the lady said that a notification will be sent to the person that made the call and that person will call me back.

I still haven’t received any call back and the money was deducted from my account. In the first place I could’ve waited for my upgrade until this month, I didn’t mind that, but because she said I will only be liable for the new handset and the insurance, I said yes because that is what I can afford.

I am very upset because why would you say that can request for the recording of the call, but when you actually do, nothing comes from it.

I feel like I should be re-imbursed with the extra money that was deducted from my account, and because VODACOM is refusing to forward the recording of the call, implies that they are guilty of the lies that was told to me on the phone and therefore they do not want to forward the recording.
