Disgusted by service

Disgusting service from the "The best mobile network in South Africa"Vodacom.

It all started in November when I was contact for a contract upgrade which I was explained was a hassle free option. So I decided to go with the Samsung S6 which they offered a great Data deal with the phone. What a great early present for my husband.Him being not a avid liker of technology decided to only start using the phone once we put a screen guard and protected case on first.Once done decides to give first battery charge as stipulated in instructions. To our amazement the phone was over heating.DISSAPOINTMENT.We contacted Vodacom and after only numerous calls was helped and the phone was picked up and was told that the procedure was to cancel the whole contract and re-apply for a new contract and that we should only pay for services that were used. The phone was faulty and we will not be liable to pay for something that as been faulty and as not even been switch on.We re-app**** and sales consultant says a great deal Samsung S7 and a free Samsung Tablet was on offer. So we decided on that deal.So by now my husband was already dissapointed and decided for me to take phone and use with a prepaid and he will use contract card on tablet. We are both satisfied only to get a statement of and estimated R3087.00.We decided to contact Vodacom and after numerous calls on nearly everyday were only given ref numbers. So we even spoke to so called "MANAGER'S" who also just give false promises of contacting us.So I decided to go to Pavilion Store and speak face to face with VODACOM CUSTOMER CARE" the consultant listened to my enquiry and also agreed that I shouldn't be billed so high. After checking on system it shows that I am still being billed for the first contract. After being told that the contract was cancelled. My husbands tablet is blocked were he can only receive calls. The consultant at Vodacom also want prove that the contract was cancelled which I email to *** frustrates me is that I spoke to so many people and it seems that nobody can help.Even the VODACOM CUSTOMER CARE consultant has to be contacted by me for follow-ups.He says that the MANAGES at VODACOM are looking into it.Makes me wonder if there's anybody really working at vodacom or not.No follow-ups whatsoever. Before encouraging people to join Vodacom treasure your existing customers.Take note that from December till now 26 May no joy from Vodacom. Also whilst preparing email got a pre recorded message that the bill is now R17.260.00.Can someone please explain and sort out.Disgusted Vodacom Customer.

Disgusted customer.Mrs.P.Pillay. ********** 024.
**********
