DISGUSTED BY DISSERVICE

My number has been deleted from the network and no one notified me. I was on unpaid maternity leave for 4 months. In the third month I started falling short on payments and advised them that I'll pay end June or early July because that's when I'm going to have cash flow again. They made a note on the system and advised they'll just suspend my profile if no payment is received - I had no problem with that. First I was unable to make outbound calls but still able to receive inbound calls/smses. I knew it was suspended. I was under the impression that this would be the case until I paid. Network mode eventually switched to 'emergencies only' and I assumed it was just frozen till I paid. I was still fine with that. Last week (early July) I finally made a plan to pay my account as I am recovering from a looong four months. I'd understand if it was protol to DELETE a person's number if a certain number of payments were missed (two) but seriously, LET A PERSON KNOW beforehand by sending a comprehensive email. Or even a one-liner email saying we are going to remove your number from the network on such and such a date. You have my email address on your system! I paid my phone bill up and NOW I must pay 2 x R105 and 2 x R285 (have two phones on my name) to reactivate my numbers yet everytime I spoke to accounts department no one cared to mention that little detail. All I knew was that I'd be temporarily disconnected till I paid then I'd receive the air time thats due to me for those 2 months. Is omission part of treating customers fairly? Then your customer service agent has the audacity to be sarcastic last week before I made the payment (I needed to confirm the amount owing because I know there are also penalty fees added) plus he doesnt know what hes doing because I asked if the amount includes July then he said yes, the next lady confirmed it's excluding July. You can't confirm wrong information then not deliver. I am disputing the reactivation fees because I was really mishandled in this Matter. I also suggest you have a word with your agent. People who do not live and breathe your values should not be on he front line. He was extremely rude. I asked nicely that he send my statement while im on the phone so that I can see it in my inbox then he's telling me about it's going to turn into a Long call if he sends it now, so he'll send it after I put down. Then afterwards asks me for my email address because I asked which email address hes gonna send it to. Like how were you going to send it if I had hung up in the first place? Plus im with their legal department. How even? Seriously disgusted. Feel like I got stabbed.
