Disgusted

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company is not a reputable business at all. I’m disgruntled and feel like the best resolution will be to cancel my Vodacom contracts.

I bought 2 Samsung Galaxy A04e phones. One phone worked well until 05/02/2024 when the screen suddenly separated from the device. There was no physical damage, no fall, no cracked screen nothing.

I went back to Foshini stores in Kariega, where the phone was originally purchased. The phone was booked in for repairs on 06/02/2024.

Disappointingly, on the 11/03/2024. More than a month later. Vodacom advised that they are unable to fix the phone due to physical damage. Please see attached all documentation.

My dispute is that there is no physical damage on the device as I had it looked at by VODACOM assistants at Corkwood Mall as well as an independent technician, who all agree the device has no physical damage. There is no adhesive visible that keeps the screen attached to the device. Kindly advise how this is possible.

I’m not happy at all about the service I have received from Vodacom, especially after being a Vodacom customer for a lifetime. This ridiculous service is causing me to want to notion to cancel all my Vodacom products. I’m prepared to go the extreme to prove my case. The device is faulty and you are blaming your customers. This is disgusting.
