Disgraceful *******.

I have recently moved across from Vodacom to Cell C via a contract switch. I found Cell C's contract offered me more. I was being charged R 720 per month at Vodacom. The contract switch had been completed and the remainder of the contract was paid up in full. Yet to my surprise and disgust, Vodacom debited my account over R 2 300. I am highly angered by this and will take up further. But it is going to take up a lot of my time getting my money back.

This is completely unacceptable and a disgrace.

Good day,

It's been over 9 hours and still no correspondence. Yet if a customer hasn't paid they'll receive contact with in minutes.

Highly upset, and now I have to actually go to a Vodacom store which will sincerely waste my time.

Things have gone from bad to worse. I went to a Vodacom outlet in Rosebank today to sort this out and waited over an hour for the system to go online. Thereafter I was informed that the department that can assist is not answering the calls as the employees there have probably gone home. The consultant showed me on the system that my account was sent to pre legal and informed that this occurs only when there is an outstanding balance. How can this be when I paid the cancellation contract in full and have the receipt to prove it.

I now have to take time out of my working day tomorrow to get this sorted out as I have not been contacted as yet by Vodacom even though it was stated I would be attended to.

Highly irate and dissatisfied.
