Disgraceful and shocking service from Vodacom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *******!!!!

I have been trying to cancel my Vodacom account since September 2017 and I am still being debited every month and now for the last 2 months my debit amount has increased so I can only assume they have renewed my contract despite my numerous phone calls to cancel my contract. At the very least it should have stopped when it ran out in January 2018 but instead they have gone ahead and renewed my contract at a higher rate when I haven't used the contract since September.

How is this legal? How is this acceptable behaviour from such a large company?

I have spoke to people in the accounts department in January and they assured me my account was cancelled and I would no longer receive any debits from Jan and yet I have been debited in both Feb and March already.

Now when I phone Vodacom and enter my number it does not recognise my number and that is the end of the automatic telephone process. No option to speak to an agent, simply enter the number or go away and try again later. So now I can't even get through to speak to anyone at Vodacom about this shocking display of customer service. I am sure it is ******* to keep billing a customer months after they have cancelled and months after the initial contract has runout.

I will be seeking legal advise on this matter!
