Disappointing Vodacom

I am utterly disappointed in the Vodacom brand. I had held this brand in such high regard in the past but from today I regret every single cent I have ever spent there and I will never refer anyone to them. At the beginning of this year I upgraded to a sim only deal for 125 airtime for R80 I was told by the agent that it is a month to month and I cam cancel at anytime. I called today to cancel as this airtime disappears very quickly. I was told that this is a 24 month contract and I have to pay over R2000 to cancel. Can you imagine having to pay over R2000 for a R80 a month contract that you were told was month to month. I feel that this is entrapment lying to customers just to get a sale and having to charge such a high price to get out of the contract. You would expect this from a shady provider I guess one cannot tell the difference nowadays. Utterly disgusted!!!!!
