Disappointing level of service

Called Vodacom cancellation department 9th Sept find out what it will cost to pay up and move three of my contracts to prepaid, consultant emailed the quotation. I was advised that once received I should sign the quotes and send it back with a copy of my ID and the proof of payment, once Vodacom has received this they will process the cancellation. On the 18 Sept I received notification that the numbers are now moved over to pre-paid. But to my surprise I got a bill for the contracts that I just paid up earlier in the month. Called them to inquire why I am being billed, I received no clear explanation from any of the call centre agents and their supervisor. My question to them was why is that the consultant who assists me neglected to inform me that the quotation excluded this month’s usage bill. As I clients of Vodacom I am not clued up with the company rules and regulations therefore it is the consultant responsibility to explain the whole process and financial implication of the cancellation to the client. I find it totally unacceptable that a consultant will neglect to inform a client of such vital information. I have lost all confidences in Vodacom after this experience and will definitely not recommend any of my family and friends to use them. I will be cancelling the rest of my existing contract with them and move another service provider. I am so disappointed in the level of service provided!!!!!
