Disappointing Experience with Vodacom's Unfair Practices

I've been a Vodacom customer for several years, but my recent experiences have disappointed me utterly. Not only did they introduce yearly increases on existing contracts, but they also dared to take away customers' unused data that the customer paid for. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a breach of trust and contract.

I signed a contract expecting a fixed tariff for 24 months, only to have the terms unfairly changed. I felt deceived and misled by their tactics, which seem more focused on profits than on customer satisfaction.

To make matters worse, the salespeople push you to "sign here" without fully explaining the implications, and now I am tied into a 36-month contract with a device that is no longer manufactured.

I hope Vodacom takes a long, hard look at its practices and starts prioritizing its customers' needs and transparency. I, for one, am will end all my contracts in August 2025 except where I was conned into a 36month contract but I will eventually cancel that one also

Why is Vodacom making its overhead cost the consumer's problem? We had an agreement; I signed the contract based on my ability to sustain the contract amount for 24 months. If Vodacom wants to implement an annual price update, then Vodacom should not be allowed to sign contracts for more than 12 months!
