Disappointing contract payment options
As a customer I reached out to Vodacom today in good faith to let them know that I have lost my job and would need to pause my services for at least three months however the Vodacom consultant then told me that an order for me to be able to pause my services I would need to be in arrears for at least 60 days. Now the reason this does not make any sense to me is because I do not want my name to be in bad repute when it comes to the credit bureau and IRS however as per the case consultant Vodacom is stating that the only way that they can help me is for me to show them that I cannot pay by being in arrears for 60 days. I feel like this is all not in favourable for the customer because I will have to spend a lot more time trying to get my name in the green when it comes to my credit record. I feel Vodacom is not looking to meet me half way. I feel Vodacom is neglecting to understand that a bad record when it comes to the credit bureau does not only affect my account with them but also other aspects in my life as their customer they should be trying to make things better for me as a customer rather than more difficult as a customer and other aspects of my life. I would like for Vodacom to give me a call and let me know how you can help me with this in a more favourable manner.
