Disappointing and downright disrespectful

my mother have plenty vodacom accounts and has been a vodacom customer for nearly 10 years now, when her husband passed away she continued with the contract on her own account, supplying her whole family with vodacom accounts

she got notified in december 2016 that she was due for an upgrade and they offered her a good special on data, but the lady helping her did NOT coomunicate the fact that the amount that was allocated for the handset on the previous account will still be added to the new account. i understand why this is done, but what i dont understand is why this has never been done in the past and more than that, why the lady helping her did not just mention that... in january the contract that i use (on my mothers account) was due for an upgrade so i took the same special that she did.... and same story... i was told the data would be immediately available and that the full amount from that specific month would be R299

when my data was not loaded i queried this and after three attempts was informed that this was only due month end.... which i accepted as such.... then the debit order went off and was higher than ever before where it should have been less.... so i went into said vodacom store to querie this...

i was told that a querie will be lodged and she will come back to me, which didnt happen... then end feruary the debit order was even higher than the month before... i went back to the said store...

she was very friendly and assured me there was an error and it will be sorted.... i went back to the store weekly with no results..... but she did advice me to reverse the debit order and only pay the amount she gave me... i did just that and was sittting in her office while paying over the anount.....

a week later i was still not further so went back to the store, she priomised me that i wil get an email from her that same day..... nothing... i sent her a whatsapp the following day and the day after that and so forth for a week.... today when i went back to the store, highly upset, she was not even sorry, she just informed me that she has not heard back from vodacom and still dont know why the account is wrong...

after leaving the store highly upset i phoned vodacom and three calls later eventually got a lady named rafilwe, who, within 10 minutes, explained the whole situation to me.... why couldnt TRAINED staff from a vodacom store not sort this out withing SIX weeks? with not so much as a follow up call...

and now we have to pay a penalty fee of R100.00 becuase we followed the orders of the trained staff who we are suppose to trust....

i will never recomment vodacom to anyone ever again, i left the store crying from frustration
