Disappointed with Vodacom's Handling of Contract Dispute

I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for many years, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed.

In September 2022, I was misled into accepting a contract that did not reflect the agreed-upon terms, both in pricing and service. Despite multiple efforts to resolve the matter with Vodacom, the core issue of contractual misrepresentation remains unresolved. Vodacom's subcontractor, Elite Mobile, also compounded the problem by sending me a phone in the wrong colour, which I accepted as a compromise, assuming the contract issue would be addressed. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been.

After months of back-and-forth emails, providing detailed explanations and suggestions, and even offering flexibility to help resolve the matter, Vodacom continues to ignore the crux of my complaint. Most recently, they closed my ticket without resolving anything. Their communication has been minimal and dismissive, stating that the matter was dealt with, even though it clearly hasn’t been.

As a business owner, my time is valuable, and I shouldn’t have to keep running in circles to address an issue that Vodacom should have resolved long ago. I’m now left with a contract that doesn’t match the terms I originally agreed upon, and no solution in sight.

To anyone considering Vodacom, beware of misleading contracts and poor customer service. I trusted Vodacom to handle this fairly, but they have failed to meet basic customer service expectations.
