Disappointed with both company’s

My Lenovo Ideapad 320 has sins the day I received it had some inconsistent performance issues. I don’t generally complain I will most of the time suffer in silence but I have had enough.

The Laptop has trouble performing even the most basic of tasks with out taking forever, hanging, freezing or simply, not responding (messages). I have uninstalled and reinstalled programs that I use, thinking that it might be the cause still no joy. But as I say this has been the case sins I received this laptop.

I use my laptop at work and find it difficult to get around to having this problem resolved. But I can no longer work like this. My time in a day is shortened by waiting for a laptop to keep up/ respond...

My 6 year old HP core i3 will outperform this Lenovo by 4 times faster, even my mothers Acer celeron laptop perform bigger tasks with much better performance.

I have used many laptop brands before Dell, HP and Acer, never have I enjoyed such a terrible experience with a brand new laptop and Lenovo came so highly recommended.

Then I’m not even complaining about the terrible service of Vodacom. I can assure Vodacom that this will be the very last time that I will be upgrading my contract with them and or any future purchases.

In short from trying to get this laptop in the first place and I have complained about this on this very site before (without a favourable outcome). It was a absolute waist of my time. I eventually started phoning vodacom shops for stock for this laptop, after struggling for weeks telephonically, call centres, Hello peter, facebook because vodacome has no direct costumer care email. I found stock at a vodacom shop in Brooklyn myself.

back to my current problem.

When it came to finding out what the procedure is for having this laptop analysed for repairs. I contacted them again via Facebook this seems to be the quickest way of getting a response without phoning. I explain my problem and the person says I should take it to my nearest Vodacom repair shop.

Only to find out after waiting for 15min in the Vodacom shop that I had to make time for to go to, that if I have it fixed through the shop that I will be charged for repairs! And that I have to phone Lenovo directly through Vodacom’s call centre! To do it under my warranty.

In conclusion, is it acceptable today that peoples time can be wasted so unnecessarily. If there is certain procedures for having things done why do there own workers not know it...
