I have recently taken a Vodacom contract from the golden acre mall in cape town CBD. As per the leaflet shown to me by the sales man I was to get a Nokia 5 on a flexible 150 deal with a set of skull candy head phones, first month subscription free and 10gb once of data.
This sounded like a good deal so I signed up. To date I have not received the head phones nearly 2 months later. Nor an update from anyone involved. At the end of the first month my debit order went off for 3x the amount I am supposed to pay. So much for a month's free subscription. I was advised by the salesman that I would pay only the connection fee less the 1st month subscription. This was not the case. I queried this with him and he advised that it was a mistake and logged it with head office. To date I have not received any feedback.
To top this entire experience off, the Vodacom store at the mall has now closed down and I have no way of tracking my debit order query. As a return customer to Vodacom I am disappointed at the level of which things have decayed to. I feel as if I am dealing with a back door enterprise that's running a false adverti*****t scheme.
Had a better experience with Telkom mobile, cell c and MTN over the last 2 years.
