Disappointed in Vodacom

On the 28 03 2018 I received a call from Mondo partner of Vodacom , lady explained that they are running a promotional deal on behalf of Vodacom, They offered me a 5gig day and 5 night deal with a Wi-Fi modem for R139 pm. I accepted the deal and phoned Vodacom to cancel my existing contract which was due for upgrade. The agent who assisted me asked for a reason why I’m cancelling the contract I told him I got a better deal. He told me he can better the offer with a 10gig for a monthly fee of R149. I took his offer he advised me not to worry he will cancel the Mondo 5gig deal on his side, we concluded the deal. He phoned me back after 10-15min to let me know that the 5gig deal with Mondo is cancelled and that I will get the 10gig deal. The next day 29 03 2018 I received a modem and sim card, I phoned Vodacom to enquire about the data, the agent who assisted explained that it will only be activated on the 1st of April. The 1st of April I noticed that I received only 5gig, I again phoned Vodacom on the 2nd of April spoke to two agents who transferred me to contracts. The agent at contracts told me not to worry she can see that the 5gig contract is cancelled and the 10gig will only be active on 1/04/2018 , if any funds were deducted they will refund and that I should sent back the sim and modem she will instruct the courier company to collect. The courier company came and collect. Vodacom deducted R438.69 from my account on the 20th of April, I agreed that Vodacom can proceed with an upgrade and that a payment of R149 will be deducted from my account. Till today the 5gig number is still active, Please refer back to your records and adjust your system accordingly.
