Disappointed ... by almost ********** by vodacom upper level tygervalley

I am very disappointed with vodacom Tygervalley situated on the upper level NB not the vodacare shop. Today I held my phone in my hand whilst running errands and when I looked at it again it said download with small wording in blue at bottom it reading to cancel........to reset volume lower key And rest key. Because I came from game I immediately went to vodacom on upper level Tygervalley there was lady and man sitting on 2 chairs employees I told them my contract with vodacom can they assist. She ask if phone fell I said no I was just talking on phone then held in my hand.She looked at it saying something of being locked it will cost me about R400..... she then when to call another tall consultant and he also said it locked It will cost me R600 to unlock in store it would take about 20min but I will loste everything on phone Nb( SEE THE 2 DIFFERENT QUOTES) or else I can go to vodacare and it will also cost about R600 but will take 7 to 14 days..not nothing wrong I do software updates as needed. I then thought said I'd get back to them in the mean time I will use my other phone. I went back to work and told my colleague who is a cosmetologist/ skincare she said no..... you can reset with a phone pin. Then I showed her what we read and we pressed volume key and restart button simultaneously and my phone restarted nothing lost. Phone working as normal .

So now I question their product knowledge ?even if you a 3rd party know what you sell. or is that how they rip customers off. I Felt disgusted I almost lost R600 and we unlocked it by the more pressing a button. How many customers are being caught so?
