Disappointed beyond belief .

On the 28th October I went to Vodacom in Fourways mall to upgrade my phone . I wanted to downgrade my package as my needs had changed and I no longer needed such an expensive contract . I dealt with Hilton who was not listening to my needs and kept trying to sell me a package I didn’t need . I asked him if I was eligible for an upgrade and he confirmed I was . I eventually settled on a package that was fit for my needs . After the paper work was done and I had paid I reconfirmed with Hilton that I was on the package I selected he confirmed I was . 2 days later to my horror I got an sms conforming I was on a higher package which I didn’t want . I immediately contacted the branch manager who said he would call me back and didn’t . Hilton eventually called me back and apologized for the mistake and offered to drop me down to what I wanted . I agreed to stay on the package he mistakenly put me on as there was a R70 difference . Then Time came for the billing and I was billed An additional R200 for my previous contract . I let it go as I thought it was a billing error From the previous month. This month I was billed the same Additional amount again . After calling the call centre I was informed that I am still paying for the old handset as well as the new one as my contract for my previous handset has not expired yet . I was never informed by Hilton that this would be the case and he confirmed I was eligible for an upgrade. He was dishonest with me just to get the upgrade done . I have upgraded many times and this has never happened to me before . I feel very let down by Hilton and Vodacom as a lot has gone wrong with this upgrade / downgrade of package. I have tried calling the store this morning and guess what the phone just rings , I am very upset about what has happened and feel that I was horribly mislead more than once during what should be a simple process .
