Disappointed

Vodacom is a good and reputable company. I have been having my contract account with Vodacom for 18 years. I upgraded my contract early in June this year (09 June 2018). On my upgraded, I was given an additional promotional handset which had its own SIM card, and I was told the SIM will be loaded with R60.00 on a monthly basis. The disappointing thing though, is that since I got the promotional hand set, the SIM has never worked, never been activated. I called Vodacom Custormer Care, they never helped. For more than five times I went to the branch where I did the upgrade, I was told they logged a request with their IT department, the issue has never been resolved, and nobody comes to me to give me an update. This is really frustrating.
